Canadian Hearing Assistive Technology Services (CHATS-Inc.) is Canada’s largest assistive listening products provider. RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
Your satisfaction is our goal. If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your assistive listening device listening devices purchase, you may return it within thirty (30) days from the date of shipment, as shown on your invoice, for a refund or exchange. After thirty (30) days, please contact the manufacturer for warranty information. (See Warranties Information on this page below)
No returns will be accepted for products that are discontinued sale or clearance. Special orders will not be refunded.
Item(s) must be in the original carton and "like new" condition, with all parts, manuals and Return Authorization Number (RMA) included. An exchange or in-store credit will be issued if these criteria is not met. An exact exchange will be issued for defective items. Special orders, headphones, headsets, earbuds, alarm clocks equipped with bed shakers, watches are not returnable once opened due to hygiene reasons unless defective. Exchange of defective items will be for the same product only. Any shipping costs paid with the initial placement of the order are non-refundable. Your customer service representative will let you know how to make the return with instructions. If you are not satisfied with your product, you may request RMA to have this returned back to CHATS-INC. 10% restocking fee may be applied.
Every item in our product line has been carefully selected to meet your highest expectations. If you are not completely satisfied with the product you ordered for any reason, you may return it for a refund or exchange within thirty (30) days after you receive it. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
We do not accept refund shipping costs or accept charges from the post office returned items that is not provided with RMA provided to you by CHATS-INC. a
In the event that 30 days have passed from the date of shipment, you are advised to follow the manufacturer's warranty instructions for repair service. Please see your product's information card to determine which manufacturer you will need to contact. You will need to have a copy of the invoice or packing slip showing the date you purchased the product from CHATS-INC. See below if your product is past the 30 day return policy, AND it is from one of the following manufacturers for warranty service.

All orders are hand packaged and verified for delivery by our staff. If there are any items on back order or not included in your shipment, this will be indicated on the shipping materials as well in your account on our online website. If your items are damaged in transit or if there is a defective product when it arrives to you, please contact CHATS-INC immediately by telephone at 587-818-6701 or by email at email@example.com.
In stock items will generally ship within 1-2 days and may be tracked by tracking number notification provided to you. Items on back order will generally ship within 2-6 weeks, contact us for more details. When your order ships, you will receive an automated notification email advising you that your order is on it’s way to you.
Once your order has been shipped, we will send you an email with the shipper's tracking number(s) for your shipment(s). If you have not received this email with your order shipment's tracking number or deleted this email, please contact us and we will be happy to provide you with the shipper's tracking information.
Shipping errors must be reported within five (5) business days from receipt of order. If you receive an item that is damaged, please report the damage immediately to the carrier and call CHATS-INC (do not ship the package back to CHATS-INC)
Personal Information Collected
The information we learn from customers helps us to personalize your online shopping experience with us. Following are the types of information we gather.
Information you provide us
We receive and store any information you provide to us via our webstore or in any other way. For example, you provide information when you search for a product, create an account, place an order, request a catalog or catalogs, ask to be notified on changes to products, provide information in your account (and you might have more than one if you have used multiple email addresses when shopping with us), subscribe to newsletters, communicate with us via email, phone, live chat or otherwise, or share information about a product with others. We sometimes use third party software in order to provide a better user experience on the website.
We allow third-party companies, including Google Analytics Demographics and Interests Reporting, to collect anonymous, non-identifiable data about your visit via Google advertising cookies and anonymous identifiers, in addition to data collected through a standard Google Analytics implementation, when you visit our website.
We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many other websites, we use "cookies" which obtain certain types of information when your web browser accesses our website. Examples of information we collect and analyze include the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login name/email address; computer and connection information such as browser type and version, operating system, language, time zone and computer platform; purchase history (sometimes used to create our Bestseller items list); the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) clickstream to, through, and from our webstore, including date and time; cookie number; products viewed or searched for, clicks and mouse movements, scroll events and keystrokes (keystrokes from password fields or marked as "sensitive" are not tracked or stored). Some user sessions may be recorded.
You may opt-in to receive our email newsletter. Your information will not be sold or leased to another company, but may be shared with third parties in order to promote CHATS-INC products. For example, we use a third party re-mailer to distribute our email newsletters on our behalf. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you may UNSUBSCRIBE and you will be removed from the email list.
Information from other sources
We might receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information. Examples include updated delivery and address information from our shipping carriers or other third parties, which we use to correct our records and deliver your next purchase or communication; account information, purchase or redemption information; search term and search result information from Internet search engines; and credit history information from credit bureaus which we use to help detect and prevent fraud and to offer certain credit or financial services to some customers.
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that are transferred to your computer's hard drive through your web browser. They enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide features such as the storage or transfer of items added your shopping cart between visits or before account login.
The Help portion of the toolbar on most web browsers provide information on how to prevent your browser from accepting cookies, how to have the browser notify you before receiving a new cookie, or how to disable your browser from accepting any cookies. However, cookies allow you to take full advantage of some of the features on our website, and we recommend that you leave them turned on.
Sharing of Information
CHATS-INC does not sell or lease information about our customers to others.
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts the information you input.
Your credit card number is not transmitted in any emails transmitted to you when confirming an order. We do not save credit card numbers on our webstore. In addition, once orders have been processed, credit card numbers are deleted from our online computer systems.
